Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Respond to Bastille Day Attack as GOP Candidate Postpones His Vice Presidential Announcement
Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have both offered statements on Thursday's Bastille Day attack in Nice.
Trump took to Twitter shortly after the attack, sending condolences and sharing that he's postponed his announcement revealing his running mate in a series of tweets.
"Another horrific attack, this time in Nice, France. Many dead and injured. When will we learn? It is only getting worse," Trump wrote. "In light of the horrible attack in Nice, France, I have postponed tomorrow's news conference concerning my Vice Presidential announcement."
He continued: "My prayers and condolences to the victims and families of the terrible tragedy in Nice, France. We are with you in every way!"
